What are we actually doing here? Who are we and what do I have to do with these people? And why the hell is nobody answering me?
The exhibition Where is everyone? brings together all kinds of searching and absent figures and lets them wander through fragile but colorful landscapes. The Berlin artist Malte Hein stages lonely figures and their traces in places full of abysses and cracks, but not without the occasional ray of light.
The interpretation of whether gloom or hope prevails is thus left to us, and the question of the title also remains largely unanswered.
The vernissage will take place on Friday, November 17 from 6 pm. Almost 30 oil paintings and prints will be on display and can be viewed at Zurmühlen’s premises from November 17, 2023 to March 3, 2024.
On Sunday, March 3 from 3 p.m., there will be the last chance to see, buy and discuss the paintings with the artist over coffee and cake at the finissage.
